Welcome to Bear Den x

Third Grade
      or 8-9 Yrs

Den Leader
Assistant Den Leader

Our Goals  Bear Scouts will complete six required adventures, and they will choose one of the 13 elective adventures in the handbook. Together with their den, they can learn about knife safety and camping skills, host a carnival for younger Scouts, build a robot, see how crimes are solved, or take a fishing trip. They also can learn about some of the many other awards Cub Scouts can earn.

Summary Much of the advancement for the Bear rank is done by the scout with his family outside of the den.  The parent signs off in the scout's handbook and the Den Leader records the advancements from the handbook in our tracking Software.  The Bear program relies heavily on family involvement, but you will see this gradually change with the scout doing more with his den and more individual direction as he graduates to Webelos.
